Mixed animal associated wanted in Navasota Texas
Beard Navasota Veterinary Hospital is a busy, rural mixed animal practice, with 6 full time veterinarians looking to add an additional doctor. We have been serving Grimes, Brazos, Montgomery, Waller, Washington and Walker County since 1956.
We are looking for an enthusiastic veterinarian who wants to experience progressive mixed animal practice with the latest in digital radiology, ultrasound, cautery, endoscopy, and full in house blood analyzers. Our practice is 50% small animal, 50% large animal. We have an excellent large and small animal support staff with a 1:5 doctor to staff ratio. Our small animal hospital comprises 5000 square feet which provides 5 exam rooms and a modern treatment area. Our large animal facilities include a stand alone equine room with 2 equine stocks, air conditioning, and rubberized flooring. Our cattle barn includes 2 hydraulic tilt chutes, 1 hydraulic processing chute and 10 acres of pens/ traps used for hospitalization and our in house cattle AI program. We enjoy mentorship and are always looking to learn new ideas from new graduates.
We are not looking for just "a veterinarian." We are seeking a hard working, honest veterinarian who wants to excel in professional and family life and is a great fit for our current practice environment. Duties include a rotating emergency call schedule shared with other veterinarians on staff.
