Objective of Talk This presentation will highlight the core principles of plant growth and how grazing timing influences forage productivity and quality. Emphasis will be placed on practical guidelines for deciding when to begin and end grazing, and on tools that can help optimize forage use, including water placement, supplement or mineral strategies, and technologies such as virtual fencing. The goal is to provide veterinarians with a clear understanding of how different management approaches can improve grazing efficiency and long-term pasture and animal performance.
