Objective of Talk	The objective of this presentation is to cover the main factors and metrics available through commonly used record management software that affect profitability on commercial dairy herds. Knowing how to access these metrics and how to interpret them aids in assessing the performance of the operation. Understanding that cow health, production, reproduction, and nutrition are all interrelated and monitoring performance in these areas on a regular basis can inherently drive valuable discussion and achievable action items amongst the dairy team. Identifying the key challenges and opportunities for each operation and generating custom solutions brings additional value to the producers.
