Affordable Vet Care is a well-established 2 doctor mixed animal practice located in rural North Central Missouri looking to hire an associate veterinarian. |

Facilities provided by the veterinary practice:

Always adding equipment/updating. Some of the equipment we currently have includes digital direct in-house x-ray, digital CR portable x-ray, 2 ultrasound machines (1 laptop style and 1 IMV goggles style), laser therapy, stance analyzer, in-house bloodwork (IDEXX Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, In-Vue, and SNAP Pro), gas anesthesia, electronic monitoring system, continuous zero-touch remote monitoring system (VetGuardian), and 2 portable Foremost chutes with head tables and palpation cages. We are currently in the planning stages of adding a large-animal haul-in facility and a separate kennel/boarding facility with outdoor runs and fenced in play areas for dogs. |

We currently have 2 DVMs with support team consisting of 2 customer service representatives, 4 full-time veterinary assistants, 2 part-time veterinary assistants, 2 kennel workers/animal caretakers, and 1 office manager. More support staff will be hired following the addition of an additional associate veterinarian. |

Several staff members are currently taking college courses towards Bachelor’s degrees and Veterinary Technician programs. We believe in supporting our staff both inside and outside of the clinic and this level of respect has provided the foundation for our team’s continued success. |

Trenton is a small rural community located just north of Chillicothe on Highway 65. Our location allows for easy travel to larger towns while getting the benefits of the classic small-town feel.
