Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:
|
Looking for associate veterinarian for mixed animal practice, heavy on cow calf side. Clinic is 70% large animal/ 30% small animal. We have one main office and two satellite locations. Of that large animal percentage, it is mostly cow/calf but we do have several feed lots and one dairy that milks 1400 head (we go there every Tuesday) plus two smaller dairies. We also see equine, caprine, ovine, and even the occasional porcine, llama, etc. Small animal is mostly dogs and cats but we are expanding the exotic aspect as we continue forward. There is also room for expansion in equine if you would like to go that direction. We average 30-35 uterine prolapses a year, 25-35 c-sections a year, and countless OBs in our Spring Calving alone (two month window). You will get plenty of cow time if that’s what you are looking for: spring semen testing, bangs vaccinating, and OBs, fall PGing and we do have some fall calvers too. |
Practice Area: |
We are 70 miles from Fargo which has an international airport and all the things a big city has. In town we have a hospital, several human clinics, dental clinics, chiropractic clinics, ophthalmologist, K-12 public school, several daycares, Subway, movie theater, Pizza Ranch, Super 8, and even a stop light. There are numerous outdoor activities in the immediate area including fishing, camping, hunting, and horse trails. Bobcat manufacturing is 15 miles south of us and ADM has a large facility 20 miles north, both are two of the largest employers for the SE corner of ND. There is also a human hospital, three human clinics, three chiropractors, one ophthalmologist, three dentists, nursing home, assisted living and the ND veterans home. Lots of human health care jobs available. |
