Job Description:

 Practice hours are Monday Friday 7:30am-5:30pm, closed Saturday and Sunday with the exception of emergency calls. Emergency on-call duty is shared on a rotation amongst the veterinarians. Technicians assist after hours with emergencies as needed. Specific reproductive services offered include cattle embryo transfer & flush, cattle & equine artificial insemination, equine teeth floating with power equipment, bovine podiatry, feedlot/swine consultations and some small ruminant work. Training Required:
 DVM in Oklahoma and Texas (If not current in Texas, can start licensing upon starting work)

Facilities provided by the veterinary practice:
 We are fully equipped with 2 hydraulic cattle chutes (1 tilt), portable hydraulic air-conditioned breeding box, portable chute with corral, computerized radiography, 2 portable ultrasounds, equine teeth floating power equipment, up to date small animal dental equipment, in-house chemistry and hematology equipment.  
Other Personnel :  Our staff includes 2 veterinarians, 2 licensed veterinary technicians, 2 assistants and 1 receptionist. The hospital team is highly skilled and all members have been employed from 1-10 years. The entire staff works diligently to provide ample family time and keep the work schedule balanced in a manner that supports a healthy lifestyle.  
Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:
 We are a progressive mixed animal practice that has been serving rural Northwest Oklahoma and the Northeast Texas panhandle for over 32 years. Our thriving practice is independently owned and is seeking veterinarians to grow our team. The practice consists of 60% large animal (comprised mainly of bovine along with some equine, swine, ovine and caprine thrown in the mix) and 40% small animal (primarily dog and cat). Only the occasional non-ambulatory animal, herd work and consultations are performed outside of the office. Production medicine, herd health, reproduction development and consulting are the primary large animal emphasis.
