Overview: Crocker Animal Hospital in Franklin, KY is a nine veterinarian high-volume mixed animal practice in southern KY (north Nashville). We seek to hire a veterinarian seeking to do at least 90% large animal. Our small animal hospital is very modern and well equipped. The 10,000 square foot facility was new in 2014 and has excellent kennel facilities, surgeries, 4 station treatment, ICU, endoscopy, digital x-ray in LA and SA, ultrasound, full diagnostic lab, CT and canine rehabilitation. A separate large animal facility located very close to the main hospital allows us two acres of unique space to treat large animals. We also operate a satellite clinic 18 miles away in Scottsville, KY…that is full service with all emergency work through the main hospital in Franklin. Franklin is a modern small town with a Midwestern feel. It has big industry and big agriculture. Bowling Green, KY is a college town 20 miles to the north and Nashville is 45 miles to the south. -We offer an excellent initial salary which converts to profit sharing once billing is appropriate.
This is a 5.5 day a week schedule and we pay your malpractice insurance, dues, and up to $1,500 of continuing education. We have excellent computer system on fiber optic network. We have large excellent and vibrant veterinary team and staff of over 30 people. Our Staff and partners work had to support each other and the team. . Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:

The only small animal work would be on emergency. We feel like we can provide excellent mentorship in small animal emergency medicine. Associate veterinarian would have to do mixed animal emergency until 10:00PM five nights a month...but you would get the emergency fee plus 40% of what is billed out. Additionally you would work one weekend every 5-6 weeks. ( Emergency is currently shared with 5 veterinarians ) The phone is answered and we have night staff. Small animal veterinarians would be available to assist with emergency surgery. |
