Objective:
|
To find an associate veterinarian who enjoys a true mixed animal practice and working with beef cattle. We are looking for someone who demonstrates servant based leadership and wants to work in a family environment. There is buy-in potential after the first year and it is encouraged even. |

-$1,000 toward Continuing Education
- Paid professional membership dues (Avg of $400-600 Benefit)
- Professional Liability is paid ($400-600 Benefit)
-Truck and vet box
- Week days off and rotating Saturdays off during slower times. (Highest rated benefit by staff and doctors)
- On-call is every 5th-6th weekend and one night a week. (You have time to spend with family on weekend). You also get a percentage of on-call emergency fee.
- Usually, a bonus after spring and fall seasons
- Buy-In is available after the 1st year and is encouraged.
- Retirement account match program. ($1200-1500 on avg)
- We serve 4 counties that are part of USDA Veterinary Medical Loan Repayment Program that will pay up to $75,000 in student loans. We currently have one veterinarian that was awarded this.
- Clinic house is available for rent for 1st year of practice. (Very low rent so can be up to $5000 benefit)

We provide a professional, clean, fun, and affordable experience to our large client base. We stay on top of the latest advances in veterinary technology and have equipment unmatched by anyone in the area.
Small animal- Our small animal facilities provide electric lift tables for large dogs, new IDEXX CR radiology, video otoscope, endoscopy, ultrasound, dentistry, in-house bloodwork IDEXX (CBC & Chemistry) integrated with IDEXX cornerstone software, high-end video microscope, laser therapy, surgery room and a large boarding facility. As a veterinarian, you will always have support staff available to help with procedures.
Large Animal- Solomon Valley Veterinary Hospital has unmatched large animal haul-in facilities available to you! There are two cattle working facilities with Silencer hydraulic chutes. The facilities are under shade with scales and hydraulic alleyways. The large animal surgical/obstetrical suite is heated and all of our large animal facilities are concrete. There are three brand new portable Silencer chutes available for large herd work to make your job comfortable and safe. You will also be provided with a work truck and vet box for your large animal appointments and emergencies..
