Objective:
|
Lake Area Veterinary Clinic is a four doctor mixed animal practice located in Watertown, South Dakota looking to hire a large animal associate to join our practice. |
|
Training Required:
|
a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent is required. |
|
Experience Desired:
|
Large animal experience and handling knowledge preferred. |
|
Salary:
|
Salary is competitive and negotiable based on experience. |

Facilities provided by the veterinary practice:

Our practice is equipped with haul in facilities, portable hydraulic chutes, a hydraulic tilt chute, equine stalls and stocks, a large animal recovery suite, and calf crates. It is well equipped with diagnostic tools including an x-ray machine, ultrasound, in house blood machines, laser therapy, CO2 laser, and gas anesthesia. A vehicle and required equipment will be provided. |

There are currently 4 veterinarians at the practice. We are staffed with a couple large animal assistants, a small animal technician, and other support staff. |

Our practice is a long standing part of the Northeastern South Dakota communities as we service a wide radius in the northeastern part of the state. We emphasize to our producers the importance of management and herd health. |
