Objective:
 IDEXX is currently hiring for a new sales role for our Pacific Northwest Territory. As a Veterinary Diagnostics Consultant for our Livestock, Poultry, and Dairy (LPD) division, you will be focusing on our selling and promoting IDEXX Bovine Laboratory services, which is our newest product/service offering to our customers. The IDEXX Livestock, Poultry, and Dairy division offers diagnostic tests and services to monitor the health of the herd and flock animals worldwide. We partner with state, government, and private laboratories to provide producers (farmers) with results that protect human health, improve animal productivity, and ensure food quality. ** Candidate can be located in IN, OR, ID, WA, MT, NV, CA, UT **near a major airport** In this role you will: Sell and promote IDEXX Bovine Laboratory services to customers. Be responsible for the development of new accounts and/or generating new business from existing accounts. In addition to face-to-face meetings, engage with customers over the phone and the Internet to close sales. Execute sales strategy, identify new opportunities/leads and generate sales reports. Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals, within an expense budget. Leverage other sales channels to maximize sales and customer service franchise objectives. Develop and support sales processes to improve productivity and ensure that goals are met. Analyze the characteristics and trends of the local market and help define customer needs for new or modified products and services. Training Required:
 Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. 
Experience Desired:
 High comfort with both outbound and inbound sales activity, combining account strategy with attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish rapport quickly, build and maintain relationships. Capability to absorb and articulate technical information. Highly motivated, goal oriented with strong organizational skills, especially in a multi-tasking environment. Effective time management skills to ensure desired business outcomes Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Computer proficiency (Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook). Working knowledge of a large western-style dairy farm Basic understanding of common dairy farm management systems i.e. DairyComp, BvoiSync, and PCDar Able to do 75% Travel  
Salary:
 $75,000 base + commission
