 Experience a true mixed animal practice in beautiful eastern Oregon while repaying your student loans via the USDA Veterinary Medicine Loan Repayment Program!!! Sage Country Veterinary Service is a mobile mixed animal practice with two fully stocked large animal vet trucks and a mobile small animal van equipped with a surgery suite, radiograph, ultrasound, treatment area, and blood machines. Our practice sees equal amounts of large (beef cows, horses, some sheep, goats, pigs) and small (dogs, cats, occasional pocket pets, poultry) animals. We are currently in the process of building a facility in addition to the mobile services. As an associate vet, you are provided with your own vet truck, a four day work week and on-call schedule of one week out of three. Emergency fees go directly to the provider giving you an opportunity to increase your salary on those busy evenings! Harney County offers a truly unique rural experience with a tight-knit, supportive community. We are located 2 hours east of Bend and 3 west of Boise, with natural attractions at your fingertips including mountains, forests, the alvord desert, many natural hot springs, and incredible camping, fishing, and hunting opportunities. Training Required:
 DVM or equivalent 
Experience Desired:
 True Mixed animal practice 50% large animal = cow calf, equine, some small ruminants 50% small animals dog and cats with a few exotics 
 starting @ $72,500  
 emergency fees go into your pocket, paid CE, health insurance, paid time off - in the USDA loan repayment program
