Objective:

Rolling Hills Veterinary Service is a progressive mixed animal practice with an emphasis on production animal medicine. We are seeking to hire an Associate Veterinarian needed to join our growing team operating in a 4 Doctor mixed animal practice. We are adding another Doctor to our practice due to a retirement. |

Facilities provided by the veterinary practice: Both the Cascade and La Motte clinics have well-equipped large animal haul in facilities and small animal exam rooms and surgical rooms. We have in-house Chemistry, CBC, gas anesthesia, dental machine and digital radiology. We have 3 portable chutes, easy scan ultrasounds for repro work and each clinic has calf isolation units for scour treatment. |

Dairy: herd health, individual animal medicine and surgery, calf and heifer processing services, preventative medicine and maintaining overall herd health and helping dairy producers be more efficient and profitable.
Cow Calf: bull BSE’s, OB services, individual animal medicine and surgery, calf processing, preventative medicine, ultrasound/palpation, protocol development.
Feedlots: processing cattle in the country and at the clinic, individual animal medicine, protocol development.
Small Animal: quality medicine and surgery services.

Rolling Hills Veterinary Service has two clinics located in Cascade & La Motte, Iowa. This area of Eastern Iowa has great small towns with close driving distances to the larger cities of Dubuque and Cedar Rapids. Our clinics are in the rolling hills of Eastern Iowa close to the Mississippi River and is known for exceptional outdoor recreational activities. Excellent hunting and fishing area with the Mississippi, local rivers, lakes, and trout streams. The area surrounding our clinics is rich in animal agriculture. Our dairy herds range from 50 cows to 800 cows; our cow/calf beef herds range from small to 600 cows; this area is also abundant with feedlots. |
