Objective:
|
Ogletree Vet Services is seeking a part-time or full-time associate veterinarian for our small town, rural, busy large animal veterinary practice in Roopville, GA. We are primarily large animal seeing all livestock and equine. We see a small number of small animals solely for routine care while on farm calls. We are flexible as to prospective veterinarian's interest. Bonus would be a veterinarian interested in equine work especially lameness and could build that side of practice. We are mobile and have brand new haul-in facilities. Facility includes cattle pen system, manual and hydraulic working chutes with tilt table, hospitalized stalls, equine stocks, exam room, full pharmacy and semen embryo lab and small ruminant surgery suite. We are looking for someone to help with our busy case load and care for our clients and producers like family while taking great care of their large animals.
Large animal interest, hard working, confident, great communication and personal skills talking with clients. |

Training Required:

DVM degree, GA and AL State License |

Experience Desired:
|
All experiences welcome, New grads with palpation and ruminant experience welcome to apply. Mentorship offered. |

Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:
|
Large population of goat clientele and beef cattle and rural horse work. AI many cattle a year, few conventional embryo flushes, horse work consists of routine care, emergency colic/laceration repair, repro, refer for more involved equine cases and lameness unless new candidate would like to grow that side of practice. Great need in our area. |
