Job Description:

 Associate Veterinarian in Mixed Practice. Position is 1/3 Dairy 2/3 Pets with Opportunity to grow the beef and calf practice. You will be joining 8 experienced doctors with a strong mentorship program. We are progressing toward reducing hours worked for all doctors while maintaining salaries that support debt repayment and living in a low cost rural area. Preference given to doctors with demonstrated interest and experience in ownership 
Training Required:
 DVM or equivalent with experience with farm animals. 
Experience Desired:
 We can train new graduates including 2022 grads and experienced doctors considered. 
 Competitive Prosal ranging from $70 to 120K to start. Opportunity for more in future years. 
 Health, Life, and Liability Insurance Stipends. AFLAC, Retirement Maximum Match, Paid Continuing Education, Vacation and Sick Time. Coveralls, boots, shirts, sweatshirts, cell phone. Paid Emergency Fees (You get $40 per emergency farm call and the whole pet emergency appointment) in addition to regular pay.

Facilities provided by the veterinary practice:
 Three equipped clinics digital Xray, ultrasound, Therapeutic Laser, In House Chemistry, Personal practice truck with Bowie fully stocked, Ultrasound. Electroejaculator.  
Other Personnel :  8 experienced Veterinarians, 6 veterinary technicians, 35 total staff 
Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:
 Caring, complete pet care for rural setting. Milk quality lab including myco, Building design consulting, Nutrition, Preventative programs for all types of cattle. Milk Quality evaluations. Repro programs influencing 40,000 cows.  
Practice Area:  Clean cared for small towns with many small factories and businesses. Great place to raise a family. Top agricultural counties in western Ohio. We travel to big herds. There will be cows here for quite awhile as we have many family dairies with main operators in their 30's and 40's. They have updated facilities in the last 10 years. We also see large herds from 900 to 7000 cows. Three recreational lakes in the immediate practice and hiking and biking. Festivals every weekend in the summer.
