Job Description:

Objective:
|
Large animal ambulatory practice centered in Clinton County, Ohio, in need of an associate veterinarian to join our two doctor practice.
|
|
Training Required:
|
Completion of an accredited Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent program; licensed DVM in the State of Ohio. |
|
Experience Desired:
|
Candidate must have at least 1 year experience practicing veterinary medicine post graduation. |
|
Salary:
|
Competitive salary to commensurate with experience and employment status (part time versus full time). |

Facilities provided by the veterinary practice:

A take-home truck with stocked bowie unit, portable ultrasound, and assistant will be provided. With the addition of a third veterinarian, we have plans to build a haul-in primary office building.

We currently employ two full time veterinarians (owner and associate), one part-time registered veterinary technician, two veterinary assistants, and an office manager. |

Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:
|
The practice sees a general mix of beef cattle, goats, sheep, pigs, and dairy cattle, with few camelids and horses. In addition to commercial and backyard herds, we serve a large show animal clientele. We provide routine preventative medicine, and see a large amount of individual problems and sick calls. After hours on call coverage is divided evenly among doctors. Small practice with great employees. |

Rural agricultural community in Southwest Ohio. Territory predominantly includes Clinton, Warren, and Greene Counties, with fewer calls in Madison, Brown, Clermont, Highland, Montgomery, Fayette, and Clark Counties. |
