Job Description:

Objective:
|
We are looking for a veterinarian primarily interested in dairy practice as well as an interest in beef and small ruminant work. Our practice serves approximately 40 dairies in Stanislaus and San Joaquin Counties. Our veterinary team currently is involved in employee training schools, consulting with Dairy Comp 305 and DHI Plus, as well as a robust milk quality laboratory. All veterinarians are equipped with portable ultrasound machines for pregnancy diagnosis, lung scans, and other diagnostic procedures. All veterinarians are encouraged to develop passions within their profession and are supported by our team. |

Training Required:

DVM or VMD as well as California State license |

Experience Desired:
|
Experience is preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply. We offer plenty of mentorship. |

Facilities provided by the veterinary practice:

Dairy Veterinary Services, Inc. has a main office building for doctors' offices, reception area, conference room, and our Milk Quality Laboratory. Each veterinarian is provided with a fully stocked veterinary truck as well as ultrasound machine. |

DVS prides itself in being a small group of veterinarians that encourages each member to develop a passion within their profession. The ability to remain an associate or pursue partnership within a few years is attainable. We have weekly rounds. All holiday and emergency work is shared evenly amongst all veterinarians. |

We are located within two hours of Yosemite, San Francisco, and Sacramento. We are fortunate to be close to both outdoor activities as well as major cities. There is a major performing arts theater within 1/2 hour drive from our practice. |
