This committee shall apprise the Board and Membership with regard to issues pertaining to bovine udder health, milk quality, milk residue avoidance and food safety of milk products. The committee shall ensure that an appropriate liaison exists with the National Mastitis Council, and the milk quality committees of other specialty organizations, and that recommendations are made to the AABP Program Committee with regard to topics and speakers relating to udder health, milk quality, milk residue avoidance, and milk product food safety for the annual meeting and other continuing education opportunities for AABP members. In addition, the committee shall provide abstracted research reports and/or original articles for printing in the AABP newsletter.
