Objective:
 Posting Date: ASAP Posting End Date: Position open until filled Position Title: Assistant/Associate or Full Professor – Equine Practice Department: Clinical Sciences, CVM Status: Full time faculty Description and Responsibilities: Clinical Track or Tenure Track faculty position in Large Animal Practice. The successful applicant must have a commitment to the University’s tri-partite mission of teaching, research, and service. This position requires participation in classroom, clinical and laboratory instruction of veterinary students, graduate students, interns, and graduate veterinarians. The successful applicant must demonstrate creative scholarship and collaborative research activities in large animal practice and develop innovative teaching and service programs. Participation in providing client medicine and surgery services to the Large Animal Teaching Hospital is required. Clinical services also include participation in after-hours emergency duty. The successful applicant must develop strong professional relationships with referring veterinarians and participate in state and national outreach and continuing education. Participation on college and university committees is expected. The successful applicant must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and work collaboratively with others (faculty, staff, students) in a collegial and diverse team environment. 
Training Required:
 Qualifications: DVM or equivalent degree. Three to four years of postgraduate clinical experience, including a large animal rotating internship and/or clinical instructor experience in an academic setting, will be given preference. Clinical experience and documented competence in medical and surgical management in all large animal species are required.
