Objective:
|
Anderson Veterinary Service in Zumbrota, Minnesota is looking to add an additional full time veterinarian to our growing team. The ideal candidate would be someone looking to make Zumbrota and the surrounding communities their long term home. Our practice currently employs 8 veterinarians. We serve clients near the Zumbrota area in Southeastern, MN and extend our services into western Wisconsin. Our clinic serves a variety of farm types and production systems. These include dairy, beef cow/calf, feedlot, livestock auction markets, and small ruminants. Our clinic also offers small animal services to Zumbrota and the surrounding communities.

Training Required:

DVM or equivalent. The ability to become licensed and accredited in MN and WI is also required.

Facilities provided by the veterinary practice:
|
Each veterinarian is provided with a truck and vet box. Our clinic has in house bloodwork capabilities (CBC and Blood Chemistry) and also an in-house mastitis lab. We have a digital x-ray available for small animal and also for our small ruminants/calves. We work with 2 auction markets on a weekly basis and have haul in capabilities with a Silencer chute. Along with haul in capabilities, we also have 3 portable Foremost chutes for on-farm cattle processing. We have 2 full DC305 licenses.

We are lucky to have a great team working together on a daily basis! We have 8 veterinarians, 6 full time support staff, and many part time support staff.

Our practice takes pride in the fact that we have a diverse range of experience and expertise. Veterinarians are encouraged to pursue their passions and develop new practice offerings. Many of our veterinarians also have young families and we work together to make the best work/life balance as possible. Our food animal on-call schedule is split evenly amongst all of the full time doctors. There are no small animal on-call responsibilities.

Zumbrota, MN is located in Southeastern Minnesota. The community offers a small town atmosphere with larger cities close by. We are about 30 minutes from Rochester and 1 hour from the Twin Cities.
