We are a mixed animal practice in rural southeastern ID, Preston to be exact. Any Napoleon Dynamite movie fans? We are currently a 2-vet practice looking to hire a 3rd, +/- a 4th. We are willing to train and help you adjust into your new career. We help care for most farm and companion animals. There's so much joy in helping families be successful in keeping their family farm. We work as G.P. to many companion animals; elective surgeries, dentals, broken bones, wellness exams etc. It's rewarding to care for someone's companion it's whole life. The new veterinarian could be a small animal emphasis. Starting wage $90,000+ but is negotiable based on experience. We have a newly renovated and expanded modern clinic. Schedules are easily accessible via Google sheets. You adjust your schedule as needed for days off, adequate surgery time, etc. Wellness exams are scheduled every 30 minutes giving an adequate amount of time to record S.O.A.P.s. We have the subscription with Talkatoo to help efficiently complete S.O.A.P.s. We have digital x-ray, Abaxis in-house bloodwork. We share weekend and holiday on-calls with a neighboring vet, making it that you’ll only have to be on-call every 4th weekend and about 8-9 weeknights/month. We strive for the proper balance between career and personal life.

Provide good quality service to our rural clients, many who we consider friends. Try to keep work/life balance in mind. We try to generate a family-type atmosphere at the clinic and consider family the utmost importance, usually having 1-2 parties/activities each year that involves entire families. |

We are located in rural SE Idaho in the beautiful Cache Valley. We experience four seasons, sometimes all in one day ;). We service clients in SE Idaho and northern Utah. We share weekend and holiday call with a neighboring clinic with which we have had a good working relationship for nearly 20 years. Quick access to mountains and numerous reservoirs/lakes. Preston is a community of 5000, but growing, county has around 12,000. Logan, UT (50,000+) is 30 miles away, with Utah State University located there and a full service diagnostic lab. Metro area of Salt Lake City is two hour drive. |
