Objective:
|
We are a mixed animal practice in a small community and have a satellite clinic located 8 miles east in Carthage, Illinois. Clinic services approximately 60% small animal and 40% large animal (majority cow-calf, small ruminant, camelid, porcine, and a few cervids). We are a modern clinic with digital radiography, bovine ultrasound, dental machine, power equine dental float, and Abaxis full in house lab work. Our Carthage location offers a climate controlled haul-in facility for cattle. We have a dedicated staff and a close relationship with local pet rescues and community. We are specifically looking for a candidate with a strong interest in true mixed animal practice who can help us service an increasing cow/calf market. |
Training Required:
|
Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree, veterinary license in the state of Illinois and Iowa. |
Experience Desired:

Salary:

Negotiable based on experience but offering a competitive salary and benefits package worth over $100,000. |

2 veterinary clinics, climate-controlled haul-in facility at Carthage location. Two fully equipped veterinary trucks with vet box and all supplies and equipment needed to perform the job provided. |
Other Personnel : |
1 full time veterinarian and 1 part time. Experienced veterinary staff - 5 full time and 2 part-time staff. All staff trained to assist on farm calls and come in on after hours emergency to help. |

Excellent school systems and close-knit community feel with lots of ways to get involved. Within 3 hours of St. Louis if you need a get-away and happen to be a Cardinals fan.
