Bovine TB: A True One Health Challenge

Objective of Talk	This talk will cover the history of TB in Michigan, the impact it has on farms, and the important role of the veterinary practitioner when it comes to addressing this disease. Michigan is the only state with split state status for Bovine TB which creates some complexities for interstate movements. The wildlife reservoir also contributes to the challenges faced in Michigan. The difficulty in detection will be discussed with some specific examples shared. Finally, we will zoom out and look at where else we see TB in the US.
