Objective of Talk This presentation reviews the impact of HPAI H5N1 infection on dairy cows, including effects on milk production, mortality, and early culling associated with clinical disease. We will discuss why individual cow-level data is critical to accurately assess the true impact of the outbreak, and what we currently know about milk production recovery in clinically affected cows.
