Description: The Range Cattle Industry -- Ranching on the Great Plains from 1865 to 1925, by Edward Everett Dale of the History Department, University of Oklahoma in the 1920s.
Dale became a research agent in the Division of Statistical and Historical Research for the Bureau of Agricultural Economics. Published in 1960. However a smaller version was first published in 1930 but it sold out and soon became a "rare book" and a copy, when found, demand an unaffordable price. Thus, the author, a well-known Western historian, issued a newer edition. The book has no writing in it and is deemed in excellent condition. Dust jacket has 1 1/4" long light ink pen mark and slightly worn at the top/bottom spine.
