Objective:
|
Agricultural Veterinary Associates is seeking a full time associate veterinarian for our busy food animal practice in Southeastern PA. We are a 10 doctor, 90% Dairy, practice located in the major dairy area of Pennsylvania. Our non-dairy work consists of some beef, sheep, goat and camelid work. Our dairy work is performed on family operated dairy farms from 40 cows to over 1,000 cows. We are dedicated to the health and welfare of our clients’ animals, the health and productivity of their herds and the health and success of their business. Dairy work consists of working with farms in a comprehensive way, gaining a complete understanding of their operations and seeking to help them achieve their herd health, productivity, and business goals. We encourage all our doctors to find and develop their own areas of focus. |

Training Required:

DVM or Equivalent and a PA license. |

Experience Desired:

Experienced veterinarians and New Graduates are encouraged to apply. |

We offer an excellent work schedule, consisting of a four day work week, with weekend and emergency duties shared by all doctors. A very competitive compensation package includes a base salary plus a significant bonus based on productivity. Equipment, as well as a practice vehicle, is provided. Benefits include full health insurance, liability and medical malpractice insurance, a retirement plan, paid CE and generous time off.

Facilities provided by the veterinary practice:

We operate out of a large central facility located in Lititz PA. Our building has a large pharmacy and lab area, doctors and staff offices, conference room, kitchen, and extern quarters. Doctors are provided all necessary equipment including truck and ultrasound. |
