Stateline Veterinary Service is looking to hire 1-2 large animal veterinarians to provide quality veterinary care and consultation to our producers. We are a growing 10 doctor food animal practice located in Darien, WI just north of the Wisconsin/Illinois border. We provide complete and unlimited veterinary service to dairy, beef, swine, goats, and sheep. Our practice radius is large and we have a variety of clients. From hobbyists and showstock to large-scale dairy operations, we provide progressive veterinary medicine and consultation to them all. Stateline is unique in that we have had little turnover amongst our veterinarians and office staff. We are in search of individuals who are team players, enjoy tackling new challenges, and are passionate about utilizing their strengths and interests to better our clients. Training Required:
DVM or equivalent. Both WI and IL licenses will be necessary.
Experience Desired:
New graduates or experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply.
Salary:
Very competitive. Base + production salary.

Facilities provided by the veterinary practice:
Large central office with lab area, office space, medicine and product supply. We work with three donor housing sites (Maple-Leigh Futures, BluePrint Genetics, Rock Creek Innovations). These relationships afford us the opportunities to provide high level veterinary medicine on some of the industry's most elite cattle. The clinic also owns a commercial dairy where we calve out and milk dairy recipients. This farm provides an environment to sharpen skills including pregnancy diagnosis, dystocia, sick cow examination, medical treatment and surgery and calf health evaluation. We also have the opportunity run internal research trials.
Other Personnel :
Two dairy equipment service specialists, dairy supply route truck that delivers to local farms, and affiliated clinics: Janesville Animal Medical Center (small animal + equine), Sugar River Veterinary Clinic (small animal, food animal supplies), and Kettle View Veterinary Clinic (small animal).

SVS veterinarians are alumni from Iowa State, Purdue, Illinois, Wisconsin, Florida, and Minnesota. We have a great group of doctors on the team with individual interests in nutrition consulting, calf health consulting and lung ultrasound, small ruminant artificial insemination and advanced bovine reproduction. Our diverse group of veterinarians bring a wide array of experiences and differing knowledge bases that help us provide better service to our producers.
SVS is not corporately owned. Instead, we are owned by doctors practicing in this service. We hire veterinarians with the goal that they will become partners. Overall, our team is constantly striving to improve and is committed to both our producers and each other.
