Seeking a full-time veterinarian, whether experienced or a recent graduate, to provide outstanding veterinary care and service around rural Woonsocket, SD, to the patients and clients of Sand Creek Animal Clinic.
Training Required:
DVM. On-call will be shared among the veterinarians to provide a good work/personal life balance.
Experience Desired:
New Graduate or Experience. We are happy to provide mentorship.
Salary:
Negotiable based on experience.

Facilities provided by the veterinary practice:
Our clinic offers digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house Idexx CBC and catalyst machines, and does weekly in-house EIA testing. In-house cattle work area with alleyway and chute. Additional chutes to haul for farm calls. Designated surgery room for both small and large animals with anesthesia machine. We have two equine exam rooms with stocks.
Other Personnel :
We currently have two veterinarians on staff. Each veterinarian always has a vet assistant to help with appointments and after-hour calls.

Sand Creek is situated between two large cities (Huron and Mitchell, SD). Our practice is actually located in the country northeast of Woonsocket-- The town with the beautiful lake! Our area is known for its watermelons and pheasant hunting. We experience all four seasons- snow, rain, wind and plenty of sunshine. The largest city in South Dakota, Sioux Falls, is a quick two-hour trip.
