Objective:
|
Our practice is seeking a 3rd veterinarian for our very diverse 100% large animal ambulatory practice. Interest in all livestock, camelids and equine is desired.
|

Training Required:
|
DVM/VMD or equivalent, MD and PA License, Accreditation Level II |
|
Experience Desired:
|
New graduates encouraged to apply as well as experienced practitioners |
|
Salary:
|
Competitive and negotiable salary based on experience, Emergency compensation is also provided. |

Facilities provided by the veterinary practice:

Fully equipped pickup truck with bowie unit is provided, all supplies, medication, equipment is provided. Cell phone and monthly expenses provided by the practice. All expenses for vehicle maintenance/fuel/insurance paid by practice. Ultrasound, digital radiography, power floats provided. We do have the ability to see some small ruminants at the office. |

Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:

Great client service, timely callbacks, emphasis on seeing sick calls same day. We provide wonderful communication to our clients and they appreciate our availability over the phone for consults if we cant see same day. Our clients are great people and very appreciative of the services we provide. This practice is so diverse in the different species you see on a daily basis that you will never be bored and always something new to experience. It is definitely the modern day James Herriot practice. We service commercial farms, hobby farms and lots of 4H animals. Recently, we have had an influx of Amish clientele desiring our services. We provide a lot of client education as well. |

You have the ability to live the rural, country life style as well as enjoy the benefits of living 1 hour from Baltimore and DC, 30 mins from Gettysburg and 3 hours from the ocean. We have about a 40 mile radius as far as practice coverage. |
