My name is Maddison Tyrrel and I am a fourth year veterinary student at Iowa State University. I am seeking employment in a practice that encourages young veterinarians to develop services that bring long-term value to producers. My passion is cow-calf production systems dealing in both herd health and individual cattle medicine. But most of all I want to find a great community to work and live. My professional goal is to become an industry leader in bovine veterinary medicine by promoting improvements to animal health and welfare. My passion for animal agriculture, specifically food animal production, has only grown throughout my childhood, educational career, and work experiences. An important aspect of being a successful large animal veterinarian is working alongside producers to provide services and reasonable prescriptions that will help cattlemen.
