Objective:
|
We are looking for an associate veterinarian to create a position within our three-doctor mixed animal clinic. The position would be approximately 70% small animal and 30% large animal. We are looking for someone with an interest in companion animal. The doctor would be expected to work an emergency and weekend rotation with the other doctors, we only provide emergency for our large animal clients. We expect the doctor to have a basic knowledge and skill of veterinary medicine and a willingness to learn. We encourage mentoring and if the applicant has specific interests, we are willing to work with them in order to grow these skills. |

Our small animal clinic was built in 2008 and we have a CR digital X-ray, IDEXX blood analyzer machine for CBC, Chemistry, and Coagulation panels, gas anesthesia, ultrasound, anesthesia monitoring machine, etc. Our clinic also houses an indoor chute system to work cattle as well as a portable chute to take to farms, multiple ultrasound machines, electroejaculator, and other basic equipment. |

Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:

Our large animal is comprised of mostly dairy with some equine, small ruminant, and beef. We try to be a fairly progressive practice. In our dairies, we focus on reproduction and milk quality and prevention, with some consulting. In small animal, we focus on preventative medicine. |
