Objective:
|
River Valley Veterinary Clinic is seeking a FT LA veterinarian at our Reedsburg Location. We are a two site MA practice located in SW Wisconsin around 1 hour from Madison in a beautiful area with abundant recreational opportunities. We see predominantly dairy, with a small amount of beef, small ruminant, and swine. Dairy herd sizes range from 50 cow tie stall barns to several thousand cow freestalls. |

Training Required:

DVM, WI License, and Federal Accreditation. |

The clinic will provide all equipment needed including a truck and vet box, ultrasound, cell phone, coveralls, boots and anything else needed for specialized work. We have a LA haul-in facility (in Plain) for surgeries, processing cattle or overnight critical calf care! |

Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:
|
We are almost exclusively a dairy practice and nearly all work is conducted on the farm. As a new associate, you will be expected to perform reproductive herd health programs, herd-wide preventative medicine, and ambulatory services for individual cow diagnosis and treatment will also be part of your duties. On-call is shared evenly amongst the LA veterinarians.
