Objective:
|
Majority of current large animal clients are in New York and Pennsylvania.
While working with the Armor Animal Health team this team member will be responsible for assisting the producer to reach full genetic potential of their herds and to help them attain their animal health and production goals by actively engaging clients in discussions about their operation, assisting in problem solving by performing investigations, identifying problems and developing solutions with the producers while driving sales of lab/diagnostics and Armor Animal Health animal health products as appropriate and partnering with Sales Representatives to promote appropriate non-Rx products and services to augment therapy recommendations. Regularly scheduling ride-alongs with sales reps to further develop technical knowledge and model communication techniques with producers, and conducting on-farm training such as demonstrating and teaching procedures such as tubing calf, oral fluid administration, IV catheterization, drawing blood, collecting lab samples, etc.

Training Required:
|
Licensed veterinarian that is licensed to practice in New York and Pennsylvania. Federal Accreditation.
Requires a DVM Degree, additional degrees and training a plus.

Experience Desired:

Practice experience critical to perform duties.
Must have an overall understanding of the dairy and beef industries; knowledge of animal production, nutrition, and products used in successful operations. 4+ years of production animal experience required. |
