Objective:
|
Mondovi Veterinary Service is seeking to add a fourth veterinarian to our progressive bovine practice. The practice is 90% dairy and 10% beef with some small ruminant and swine work as well. Dairy herds range in size from 10 to 3,000 cows. Our practice routinely provides preventative medicine, herd health, data analysis and milk quality services, but we are continually evolving to meet our clients needs. |

Training Required:

A valid Wisconsin veterinary license is required |

Experience Desired:
|
The ideal candidate should have one or more years of experience but new graduates are welcome to apply. |

Salary:
|
Compensation is competitive and is based on applicants skill level and experience. |
|
Benefits:
|
Compensation includes competitive salary, 3% matching SIMPLE IRA, PTO, CE stipend, mileage stipend, and paid membership dues (AABP, AVMA, WVMA, NWWVMA, IVMA). On call is shared equally among veterinarians with one afternoon off per week. |

To accomplish this we offer comprehensive veterinary services that ensure the health and productivity of livestock, and in turn the profitability of operations. All this is done using the most recent research and techniques, custom tailored to each farm's needs. This may range from sick cow diagnosis and treatment, to comprehensive herd vaccination and reproductive protocols, and advice on facility design and expansion. No matter how large or small the farm, the doctors and staff at Mondovi Veterinary Service strive to provide animals with exceptional veterinary care. Mondovi Veterinary Service also values communication among both staff and veterinarians. We have regularly scheduled weekly meetings to discuss casework, new business, and troubleshooting.
