Elgin Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full time Bovine Veterinarian
Elgin Veterinary Hospital is seeking to hire an associate veterinarian for our food animal practice. We are looking for a motivated, team-oriented doctor with a strong emphasis in bovine. Opportunities for swine and small ruminant medicine also available.
Our clinic is a well-equipped large animal haul in facility that includes two hydraulic squeeze chutes and a tilt table. We utilize portable ultrasound, digital x-ray, and on-site Idexx lab. High-volume practice with focus on individual cattle medicine. Hospital has capacity for 80-120 animals and averages a minimum of 75 patients at all times.
Our practice is a haul-in, referral based practice. We have a diverse case load with emphasis on individual cattle medicine, bovine lameness evaluation and treatment, reproduction issues, surgery, preventive medicine, BSE's, OB services including ultrasound and palpation and main taining overall herd health.
Emergency caseload is shared. Salary will commensurate with experience.
