Objective:
|
Fast-paced five doctor mixed animal practice looking for energetic full time associate veterinarian to join our team. Animal Clinic of Monett is a well established practice located in southwest Missouri. We are a true mixed animal practice consisting primarily of beef and dairy cattle work as well as high volume, high quality small animal medicine and surgery. In addition, a lesser amount of equine, small ruminant, porcine and exotics are seen. |

Training Required:
|
DVM or equivalent with the ability to obtain Missouri licensure. Federal accreditation is also required. |

Experience Desired:
|
New graduates or seasoned practitioners are encouraged to apply. Ample mentorship is available as we have over 80 years of combined clinical practice experience. |

Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience. |

Facilities provided by the veterinary practice:

The Animal Clinic of Monett sits on 10 acres and consists of a 10,000 square foot hospital/boarding kennel. A haul-in facility equipped with a Flying W hydraulic squeeze/tilt chute, equine stocks and box stall is utilized extensively for individual and small herd work. We are in the process of building a second working facility to accommodate additional haul-in work as well. We offer a large volume of product sales to our clients as well and have abundant storage space to handle the large volume of medical supplies and mineral sales. Two Ibex portable ultrasound units are available for on farm use. The small animal portion of the practice has four exam rooms, a dedicated surgery suite, digital radiograph equipment and updated Idexx laboratory equipment. We have an on-site groomer and offer boarding to client pets in our 20 indoor/outdoor kennel boarding facility with two separate outdoor play areas for ample outside time. In addition to the clinic, we provide veterinary services to Joplin Regional Stockyards where we maintain an office with fully stocked inventory. |

Currently we have five doctors, office manager, numerous office staff, seven full or part time veterinary technician/assistants. We also maintain a full processing crew at the stockyards. |

Southwest Missouri offers ample outdoor activities to the wildlife or water enthusiast. We are only minutes away from several great state parks, recreational lakes and only a short drive to Branson for a day out with the family. We are also located within an hour of Joplin (pop 50K+) and Springfield (125K+) Missouri if you need a big city night out. Fayetteville, Arkansas is less than two hours away if SEC football is a requirement for your Saturdays in the fall. |
