Objective:
|
Position 1- Primary location is Hawarden, Iowa at a mixed animal practice–60% cattle, 40% small animal. This practice serves both cow/calf and feedlot clients. We currently offer routine small animal surgeries and well checks; orthopedic surgeries get referred to a larger animal hospital. CBC and chemistry machines on-site. Dental machine. Shared on-call. Truck and vet box can be provided. New grads will be mentored by seasoned veterinarians. Potential schedule would include a 4 day work week, with one day being an extended day and 2-3 Saturdays a month. Mentorship! Salary of 105-120,000. Medical. Possible student loan forgiveness assistance.
Position 2-Primary location is in the Carroll/Denison area. This position will primarily work with cattle feedlots, calf growers, and cow/calf herds. Work includes shoot work and consulting with producers on vaccination protocols and troubleshooting issues. This veterinarian would work closely with Deluxe Animal Health in Carroll with VCPR consult work as well as with Deluxe Veterinary Medicine at Denison Livestock. Potential schedule would include a 4 day work week with 2-3 Saturdays a month. This is slated as a full-time position, but open to part-time applicants as well. Portable hydraulic shoot available.
