This first edition was copyrighted in May 1926, by the Meredith Publishing Company. The front cover lower right has the TDF logo in a circle. Slight mottling across top but otherwise in excellent condition. Forward by Chester A. Goss, Part I is How to Pick Cows for Your Herd by Earl Weaver, Professor of Dairy Husbandry, Iowa State College. Part II is Breeding for Type and Production by H.W. Vaughan, Professor of Animal Husbandry, University of Minnesota. Part III is Feeding for Greater Profit by J.M. Fuller, Professor of Dairy Husbandry, University of New Hampshire. Part IV is Fitting and Showing Dairy Cattle by George Hemming, Manager, Meredith Jersey Farm. Part V is Fundamentals in Marketing Farm Products by B.H. Hibbard, Professor of Agricultural Economics, University of Wisconsin. A few newspaper clippings. Good original binding.
