Objective of Talk It only takes one glance at the cover of any dairy publication to see that the word "data" has become a major buzzword in our industry. With dairies becoming more and more technologically advanced, we're generating information at a rapid pace. For the newly graduated veterinarian, learning to utilize that information can be a daunting task. The goal of this presentation is to illustrate that providing value to clients utilizing their data does not need to be complicated. From a fly-spotted notebook to well-maintained computer records, this session will cover a framework for obtaining, analyzing, and presenting data to clients. Examples will primarily focus on dairy calf disease and development, but the principles are applicable to any production setting.
