•Collaborate with the MVS support team to achieve the best results possible in animal health, production, quality, and care
•Perform diagnosis of health challenges, develop treatment plans in conjunction with clients and assist in implementation on farm
•Assist in training on correct animal husbandry practices
•Provide a summary of site visits for inclusion in client files
•Perform export inspections as required
•On farm support of quality control programs through site assessments and evaluations
•Find opportunities and work with stakeholders to develop plans which proactively improve the health of client herds, including biosecurity and vaccination support
•Remain informed about industry developments, scientific breakthroughs, and best practices
•Support and advocate for the highest standard in animal welfare
Training Required:
DVM from an AVMA accredited veterinary college
Experience Desired:
3+ years of large animal veterinary experience preferred. Willing to consider applicants with less experience.
Salary:
$100,000-$170,000 CDN annual salary
